Elcomsoft Cloud Explorer 1.31 makes a number of important changes under the hood. The new authentication engine becomes significantly more future-proof by making use of phone-specific protocols as opposed to extracting information via browser-based services. In addition, the new release caches token-based authentication credentials with full 2FA support, and fixes the issue of failing SMS downloads for the latest Android O Preview running on Google Pixel devices.

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 6.50 adds the ability to extract deleted notes from iCloud and fixes the issue of accessing iCloud backups. The built-in Notes app syncs records with iCloud. Once a note is deleted, it’s supposed to be gone from the Recently Deleted folder in 30 days. However, the notes are retained in the cloud even after the 30-day period, making it possible for Elcomsoft Phone Breaker to extract. Elcomsoft Phone Viewer is also updated to support filtering existing and deleted notes.

ElcomSoft makes available a hotfix release of Elcomsoft Phone Breaker. The update fixes the iCloud authentication issue and resolves the Invalid Credentials error, enabling customers to download iCloud backups and have continued access to files stored in iCloud Drive, synced data, and iCloud Photo Library.

Elcomsoft Cloud Explorer 1.30 adds the ability to extract SMS text messages from Android backups made with Google Pixel/Pixel XL smartphones and devices running Android O Developer Preview. In addition, the new release enhances location handling with human-readable Routes and Places. Routes and Places support improves readability of location data, returning a concise list of places in addition to numerical coordinates.

Elcomsoft Cloud Explorer 1.22 is a bugfix and maintenance release. The update fixes the issue with History download, re-enables the downloading of mp3 files related to Google’s Voice Search History, and renamed the “Service” column to “Application” in Voice Search History. Updating to the latest release is free of charge for users with non-expired licenses.

Elcomsoft Phone Breaker 6.45 is a bugfix and maintenance release. The update adds support for cloud backups produced by iOS 10.3 devices, fixes authentication issues for devices tied to Microsoft Account, and includes numerous fixes and improvements for GPU-accelerated password recovery attacks. The tool can now extract text messages from Microsoft Accounts with both Windows Phone and W10M devices on the same account.

ElcomSoft publishes hotfix releases of Elcomsoft Phone Breaker and Elcomsoft Explorer for WhatsApp. The updates patched the “SSL certificate verification failed” error occurring when users attempted to access iCloud. The error was caused by server-side changes made by Apple. The updated releases resolve the issue completely and restore full functionality of both tools.

Elcomsoft Phone Viewer adds support for viewing unread device notifications included in iOS backups. Notifications are messages that are pushed onto device by instant messengers, taxi services, banking apps, as well as email applications. Depending on the usage scenario, unread notifications can go several years back. More often than not, information extracted from notifications is not available elsewhere.

ElcomSoft releases a compatibility update for Elcomsoft System Recovery. Version 5.30 adds support for the new SAM encryption scheme used in Windows 10 Anniversary Update. In addition, the new release adds support for Windows Server 2016, improves built-in dictionary attacks and includes a handful of performance improvements and bug fixes.
